We have recently expanded our Research Directions series of journals, and we are looking for a Publisher to drive their growth and innovation in partnership with the Programme Manager and the wider team. This is an exciting time to join our team.

**About the role**
You will join our STM journals team, where you will drive forward the editorial and functional development, profitability, quality, and impact of a new series of innovative STM open research journals for Cambridge.
As Publisher, you will be responsible for the launch and development of a subset of the Research Directions series of journals. You will also be responsible for the subset of existing journals in the same series, overseeing overall editorial direction, growth, and development of each journal in collaboration with our dynamic academic boards.
You will also:
- Oversee content acquisition in collaboration with the external editorial board.
- Work with the Programme Manager to create workflows, editorial policies, and editorial solutions to ensure the scalable development of the programme.
**About you**
You will have a strong scientific background, with experience in academic publishing, including launching journals and an understanding of the OA and open research publishing landscape.
You will be working closely with various stakeholders, therefore you will enjoy collaboration and working in a team.
You will have the ability to lead editorial initiatives, gain the confidence of senior academic leaders, launch titles and acquire content.
Along with your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have a strong financial awareness.
