**Senior Information Security Analyst**

I am working with one of the world's most influential research institutes with an outstanding record of achievement who are increasing there Digital Services capabilities and are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst.

This charity helps improve the lives of millions of people in the UK and you will help provide the most up to date Digital Services to support over 1500 end users across its sites, controls the information security operation, and safeguards all assets.

You will support the IT Security Manager in establishing and developing and auditing information security policies, procedures and standards and have experience in delivering information security within a mid-to-large size organisation. This may includesetting-up and running a Security Operations Centre (SOC); implementing an Information Security Management System or framework; use of computer forensics; incident investigation, or network security.

Demonstrable and in-depth knowledge of at least ONE of the following domains:

- Security and Risk Management;
- Asset Security;
- Security Architecture and Engineering;
- Identity and Access Management;
- Security Assessment and Testing;
- Security Operations;
- Software Development Security.

**Essential**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
- BCS Information Security Management Principles or the equivalent knowledge gained through demonstrable experience.
- Significant experience in delivering information security advice across a mid-to-large size organisation
- Experience of identifying and managing information security risks
- Experience of designing and/or delivering training and guidance materials
- Proven experience producing concise quantitative and qualitative reports for senior stakeholders
- Demonstrable ability to communicate to staff on technical matters in a clear and engaging way
- Proven experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Ability to write, present and explain complex material in a professional, engaging and accessible manner.
