**PURPOSE OF JOB**:To professionally represent Kendalls Cars by providing a skilled customer service to our clients for daily vehicle rental through listening to their requirements/needs either on the telephone, online or face-to-face basis in a timely and polite manner. This is a temp Maternity Cover job for 1 year.
**Hours**
**Mon to Fri 7.30 to 5pm (one day off - either Wed or Thu) plus Sat morning 7.30 am till 12 noon**
**Principal Duties**
- To greet customers in a polite and professional manner.
- To provide a high-quality rental service, to meet customer requirements and to promote the Company’s services and products to all potential customers.
- Handle all telephone and face to face enquires in a polite and helpful manner.
- Perform vehicle handover to customers informing them of all relevant information.
- To help with any other reasonable task/ad hoc duties as requested by your manager
**Person Specification**
**Essential**
- Computer Literate
- Strong communication skills, both face to face and over the phone
- Possess a Clean Valid & Full Drivers Licence
- Ability to build rapport with customers and to understand their vehicle hire needs.
- Ability to multitask with outstanding problem-solving skills
**Desirable**
- Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise and achieve tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Previous Vehicle Hire experience and knowledge of another vehicle hire booking system would be an advantage.
- Prior Customer Service Experience.
- Must be a team player and have excellent team building, management, and relationship skills
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
