**ROLE PURPOSE**
The UI Design Leads are thinkers, makers and storytellers that use design to bring ideas to life. They lead projects into uncharted creative territories and synthesize new outcomes.
They’re design fundamentalists that approach projects with both rational and innovative mindsets. They know that the only constant is change and embrace the unknown with maturity, empathy and tenacity.
As a UI Design Lead you will help design and develop digital brands, products, platforms and next-generation creative brand and commerce experiences. Propelling brands and business into a virtual and connected future.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITES**
- You will be a world-class Designer with impeccable craft, comfortably and consistently superb in your execution across a range of visual styles and mediums.
- Create standout experiences that are delight users and promote our client’s businesses
- Identify key ideas to drive projects and how to implement them in multiple channels
- Work with other Designers to co-create design systems
- Provide deliverables including prototypes, proof of concept, wire frames, user flows, use cases, and user scenarios
- Track and monitor progress on development and quality of the experience
- Develop simple and elegant design solutions to complex design problems
- Work with team members to develop streamlined UI processes
- Continually innovate and improves on the agency processes and deliverables to set new standards
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- 6+ years’ experience in UI Design, both hands on and working conceptually
- A portfolio of internationally recognised and award-winning UI design work
- A background in digital creative agencies, understanding how to bridge the world of innovation and UI design to the world of big idea creative and platform thinking
- Able to Define strategic and creative points of view on systematic thinking, platform innovation, storytelling and brand
- Solid understanding and demonstration of UI design principles, with mastery in design tools, methodologies, processes, best practices, and key deliverables (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google docs etc)
- The ability to lead the design of large and complex systems of interactions
- Understands interactive experiences, channels, and design principles
- Demonstrates the ability to lead a team of UI designers working on multiple projects
- Charismatic, confident, and credible with both new and existing clients
- Connected to popular culture, trends, brands, technologies and how they impact business and our clients
- Able to collaborate and work closely with other disciplines and have a broad understanding of design that goes beyond Visual Design.
- Tech savvy, future facing, curious and innovative in approach
- Ability to lead with empathy, support others, always listen and learn
