**Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant | Fantastic School | Wandsworth**
An Outstanding School based in Wandsworth are on the hunt for an Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism (ASD).
You will be tasked with supporting a wide variation of needs including Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), Speech and Language (SP&L) and more The students’ needs vary in severity some will beverbal, some non-verbal. If you have any experience with children aged 4-18 with SEN (ASD, PMLD, SLD etc) we would love to hear from you This does not have to be direct school experience; any transferrable skills will be considered.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L and more)
- Primary & Secondary opportunities
- Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding progress of children
- Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children
- Delivering specialist interventions
- Liaising with the school’s therapists
- September Start - Long -Term & Full Time
- £80 - £120 per day
- Located in the Borough of Wandsworth
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
- Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant
- Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L - **Ideal**:
- Childcare related experience, ideally with a SEN focus**:

- You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
- A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
