Have you got experience working with children in Key Stage One? We at Randstad Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 a child with ASD.

Job Details

Working as a 1:1 teaching assistant will require you to support children throughout the day in lessons within their class whilst also assisting the teacher when required. The role is a split day where you will be in Year One each morning and Year Two each afternoon. Both children you will be supporting need a focus on developing their speech and language plus social skills. Your aim will be to build a strong rapport with the child through high engagement, great communication and listening.

- Experience of working with young people.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Some level of understanding of Key Stage One curriculum.
- Willingness to always improve & learn.
