Proactive Personnel is working in partnership with a waste management company based in Ilkeston to recruit a receptionist on a temp - perm basis.
Working knowledge of Outlook, work & excel is required at a minimum.
Monday - Friday, 0830 - 1630 paying £10 - £10.50 depending on experience.
Unlocking and locking of Reception offices at the start and end of the day (as required).
- Unlocking and locking of Reception offices at the start and end of the day (as required).
- Answering incoming calls promptly
- Receiving visitors. Ensuring visitors’ book is signed and passes issued.
- Taking messages when the recipient is not available or engaged. Ensuring that all messages are passed on promptly and accurately.
- Ensuring the Reception area is kept tidy.
- Opening posts and sorting them into appropriate trays.
- Ensuring parcel deliveries are notified to recipients.
- Franking mail at the end of the afternoon.
- Preparing shipping documentation for courier collections.
- Maintaining staff signing-in logs.
- Data entry eg. Maintenance records, Inspection records, Training records.
- Keeping records up to date.
- Ordering stationery and tea, coffee, sugar, and bottled water.
- Ordering of workwear and PPE.
- Procurement and booking of domestic trades for the offices (eg. plumbers, service engineers, etc)
- Chasing quotes/bookings.
- Ensuring staff canteens are stocked with milk.
- Making hot drinks for directors and visitors as required.
- Ensuring Stationery Cupboard, PPE cupboard, and Kitchen are kept tidy.
- Ensuring Meeting Room is kept tidy and ready for use. Responsibility for booking of Meeting Room.
- Photocopying if required. Ensuring the photocopier is filled with paper and toner.
- General filing and administrative duties.
- General assistance as reasonably required.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
