We have a new opportunity for a part-time Receptionist to join our client services team working 2 days a week. Saturday mornings are also required on a shared rota.

Working Hours:
Normal working days are 8:15am to close, which can be anything from 6:15pm - 7pm. Saturdays are 8:30-1.00pm.

Applicants should be professional, confident and possess excellent customer service skills. Previous reception experience in a customer facing role will be an advantage. Some duties at the Needham Market surgery will include assisting the vet, so you will need to be confident around animals, dogs and cats in particular.

Main Duties:
To answer the telephone and deal with client enquiries in a helpful and professional manner.

To greet clients at the reception desk and deal with their enquiries efficiently.

To receive payment for services and ensure accuracy of information given.

To make and update appointments for patients on the computer system according to set protocols.

To accurately record client and pet information onto the veterinary database.

To provide the correct advice and product information to clients and customers.

To correctly relay any information onto team members to ensure continuity of care and staff efficiency.

Sterile cleaning of all floors and vet’s room (Needham Market only) and other daily tasks as required.
