**What to expect**:

- Free team lunch meal every shift.
- £30000 per year inclusive of tronc (based on the last 12-month’s average). We pay on a monthly basis.
- A full-time role working across 5 days, Tuesday - Saturday availability required.
- 2 days off/week - every Sunday & Monday - (December month may differ)
- We open from 10am until 11pm - meaning our team works a variety of daytime and evening shifts (not the usual always late nights)
- The usual number of days holiday a year - paid for, including tronc. We are closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
- Smart casual uniform - pale/white shirt, dark/black jeans/trousers and apron will be provided and of course trainers are fine.
- 2 AA Rosettes, recommended in the Michelin guide, Top 100 Best restaurant UK The good food guide

We are looking a Bar/FOH team member to join our award-winning independent restaurant and wine bar in Summertown, Oxford. Our restaurant focuses on seasonal and ingredient-lead bistro cookery, taking inspiration from across Europe and served in a warm and bright setting with consistently excellent service standards. The restaurant enjoys fantastic reviews from the leading national press, enjoys 5* reviews across online review sites with 2 AA rosettes, and Michelin guide recommendations.

**Our Front of House Team/ Bartender**
- Pour each drink to perfection and not forgetting to replace the last bottle in the fridge.
- Make every coffee with the same importance as the first one of the day.
- You are on point for your guests' experience (whatever the number of tables); you ensure there is clear communication to your team, so that everything runs smoothly and nothing goes a-miss.
- Greet our guests day or night with a smile and bar chat that makes them instantly feel welcomed.

**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Bar Staff at our vibrant establishment. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the bar
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons
- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till accurately
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance at all times

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and cocktail preparation
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
