Job description

The Talent Set are happy to partner with London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) to recruit their new Content & Social Media Officer

The organisation offers a hybrid working pattern with the expectation of being in their London office 2 days a week.

This is hands-on role, working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager to create stand out content and manage day-to-day social media activity across all LEYF’s channels. This person will have an eye for storytelling and a good working knowledge of social media trends, to help take LEYF’s social media reach and engagement to the next level.

You will have experience in using a range of social media channels and the ability to create stand-out content, including video, infographics and compelling written copy. You’ll be good at working both collaboratively and independently and will enjoy communicating with different teams in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively create and schedule posts on all social media platforms
- Shoot, edit and post engaging video content on social channels
- Support the planning and delivery of social campaigns
- Visit LEYF nurseries and events to capture stories and film content for social channels
- Produce reports and analysis on social channel performance
- Manage Digital Asset Management software, keeping image library up to date

Person Specification:

- Experience of content creation and social media management.
- Video creation and editing skills, with ability to make compelling short videos on the go using social media built-in features.
- Experience of using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent.
- Experience of using Canva, Adobe InDesign or equivalent, and social media management tools.
- Knowledge of reporting on social media performance.
- Ability to think creatively and proactively, identify trends and come up with ideas for social media and campaigns.
