About the role: Groundsperson*
Activate Learning have an opportunity for a Groundsperson to join our rural estates/property and environment team at Merrist Wood College and work to maintain and enhance a wide range of resources across the college estate from sports pitches, lawns, hedges, beds, and borders.
This will involve general grounds maintenance, such as grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, leaf clearance and weed management, in addition to pre and post season preparation and maintenance of our sports playing surfaces.
**Permanent, full time role**
**Salary**: £25,927 - £26,989 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

What do you need to be a successful Groundsperson at Activate Learning?*
You will have proven delivery of high-quality grounds and sports pitch maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years industry experience.
**About you**:

- Level 2 or above in a relevant vocational qualification
- PA1 and PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides qualifications
- Tractor Driving Certification or willingness to complete training
- A full driving licence
