Activate Learning are now looking for an Estate Ranger to join our Rural Estate and Property and Environment team at Merrist Wood College.

In this role, you will plan and implement maintenance of the wooded areas at Merrist Wood and green space at the Liddington site, which will include general grounds maintenance, habitat creation and improvements, as well as tree planting and maintenance.

You will also lead and develop a volunteer workforce to support the maintenance and development of the college woodlands and Liddington site.

**Permanent, full time role**

**Salary**: £25,927 - £26,989 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

**What do you need to be a successful Estate Ranger at Activate Learning?**

You will have demonstrable industry experience and proven delivery of high-quality land maintenance/management, including experience in using a wide range of specialist equipment and machinery relevant to the role.

**About you**:

- Level 3 or above in a relevant vocational qualification
- Tractor Driving Certification
- PA1 and PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides
- Maintenance and crosscut using a chainsaw Unit 201, 202 (CS30)
