**Background**:
Rose Property Services primarily carries out Cleaning, Gardening and Window Cleaning to blocks of flats and estates. Our client base is Housing Associations, Property Management Companies and Residents Associations.

**Geographical Location**:
Primarily, we work within a 25 mile radius of our office building in Hayes Middlesex and that is where the bulk of our contracts are located. That said, we work within the M25 and also go further afield along the M4 corridor as far as Newbury and Oxford.

**Role**:
We are looking for someone to carry out grounds maintenance site inspections across our portfolio to ensure our standards are being met as well as to drive standards higher and to improve the sites with recommendations for planting and hard landscaping improvements.

**Person Spec**:
Presentable, self-motivated, proactive and highly organised

Able to motivate and lead a large team, giving clear instructions and guidance

Good communication skills for dealing with both staff and clients

Confident in liaising with a varied client base

An ability to problem-solve and fix one-off and ongoing issues

A desire to constantly improve the standards of work across our portfolio

A willingness to continuously exceed client expectations

**Skillset**:
Grounds maintenance background and experience are essential

Experience with all types of garden machinery

Good plant and tree knowledge

Spraying license NPTC PA1 & PA6 preferable

A full clean driving license is essential

**Job Description & Duties**:
Assist with the morning dispatch of operatives each day and maintain tools, ensuring they are kept in good order.

Train and monitor new and existing staff (toolbox talk)

Monitor by visiting sites regularly to assess the standard of work on all aspects of the gardening programme which fall under our remit

Provide clear benchmarks for quality.

Monitor constantly against those benchmarks.

Provide guidance, further training and encouragement to our field operatives

Develop the field teams overall capabilities by using the above

Assist with disciplinary procedures as and when necessary

Monitor H&S levels of all field staff, ensuring compliance and providing further guidance and training to all staff members where necessary

Assist with incoming client calls, complaints and requests etc

Keep active client dialogue to ensure ongoing satisfaction

Provide clients with regular feedback

Look for revenue-generating opportunities out on site, such as Additional Planting, Jet Washing, Tree Works and Bulk Waste Removals, etc

£14.00 per hour
