Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for an Inspector within the Inspection department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry. This Inspector position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role you will be responsible for the detailed inspection of aircraft components using manual measuring tools and inputting data onto Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear's SAP system to record condition of component. Role Responsibilities will include: Undertake and complete a detailed inspection of all components (with exception of components which require a quarantine process due to incident / accident.) using latest criteria and Inspection equipment. Creation and modification of component overhaul / Repair routes within SAP as required. Ensuring that all information (I.E. P/N, S/N and Condition) is recorded in the shop Repair Order and on LTLGS SAP system. Carry out accurate measurement of components where required due to workload. Liaise with colleagues and engineers in other departments to organise component repair and overhaul. Train and mentor other team personnel within the role subject to your qualifications and experience. Maintain a personal Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
