**The Warehouse Supervisor** **role overview**:
You will be leading the warehouse team in all warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods and managing inventory levels. Ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff and securing the warehouse.

**Your Responsibilities as a Warehouse Supervisor**:

- Proactively lead induction and training for new warehouse team members
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day workload and performance of warehouse team members
- Taking lead in warehouse team meetings/actively contributing to operations team meetings
- Execute regular performance reviews with Warehouse Team members
- Monitor key metrics such as unallocated inventory, negative issues, cycle count accuracy, safety stock levels, FIFO, QR and build revision control
- Work with Manufacturing to determine delivery requirements for parts needed in assembly and assure parts are issued to meet the schedule.
- Create positive connections with other teams to collaborate on essential projects
- Ensure full optimisation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

**Your Skills & Experience**:

- Evidence of strong team management skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a warehouse
- FLT licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing people
- Good working knowledge of inventory and control processes
- Proven ability to proactively communicate with individuals and groups internal and external to the organisation
- Experience and competency with Microsoft Office inc Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solutions orientated, able to take ownership of problems
