At Spring Care For You, we provide high-quality, therapeutic residential care to children and young people who have often experienced trauma and neglect. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team — with opportunities available for both full-time and bank (casual) positions.
**About the Role**:
You’ll be part of a nurturing and professional team, supporting children with complex emotional needs in a safe, stable home. Your role will involve building positive relationships, encouraging independence, and helping each young person to feel heard, valued, and supported.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide day-to-day care and support for young people in a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment
- Support children to express their feelings, build trust, and achieve personal goals
- Promote emotional wellbeing, healthy routines, and positive behaviours
- Engage in daily activities, appointments, and outings
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a consistent, safe, and supportive home environment
- Keep clear, accurate records and contribute to care planning
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Experience working with children or young people
- A compassionate, resilient, and child-focused approach
- Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
- Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people to thrive
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards - full funding available)
- A full UK driving license
