We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aftersales / Service Team Leader to join our management team overseeing the service operations at our Renault, Hyundai and MG dealership in Poole.

**The Opportunity**:
You will be responsible for ensuring all servicing and repairs are carried out effectively to achieve the highest possible ‘right first-time’ standards for technical quality, whilst optimising workshop efficiency. As a Service Team Leader you will be supporting the Service Manager by ensuring the department is efficient and profitable whilst also delivering the highest level of customer service. You must be commercially minded, passionate about the motor industry and be motivated to exceed targets.

You will be responsible for supporting all colleagues within the Service team, allocating work, setting standards and promoting a positive working environment, as well as monitoring the team’s training requirements to ensure all members of the department are able to deliver the required level of expertise. Day-to-day, you will liaise with the Service Advisors and Workshop Controller to resolve any potential problems and to guarantee all customer requirements are met.

**About You**:
You will need technical knowledge and experience of working in a busy Service department, so the opportunity would suit a Service Advisor or Workshop Controller. Possessing the skills and behaviours below, combined with a drive to deliver, will allow you to be a success in this role:

- Outstanding customer service skills and a passion of giving customers a ‘right first-time’ experience;
- Strong communication and organisational skills with a high level of self-motivation;
- The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives;
- Computer literacy with a strong numerical ability;
- Up to date knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation and FCA regulations; and
- A full UK driving licence.

**The Rewards**

As well as a competitive salary and performance related bonus, we offer a structured career with the opportunity for personal development and training within our rewarding environment. In addition, you can expect the following benefits:

- Bespoke induction and learning programme and comprehensive ongoing training throughout your career;
- Access to car benefit scheme from day one;
- Enhanced family leave benefit;
- Life Insurance;
- Bupa Healthcare Cash Plan for you and your family;
- Opportunity to join the company pension scheme;
- 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service;
- Discounts on new vehicle, used vehicle, service and parts purchases;
- Various perks and discounts with high street and online retailers and services.

**The Company**:
Hendy Group is a family-run business with over 80 sites along the South Coast. At Hendy, we aim to deliver a premium experience as we have done for 165 years, all in an effort to achieve our vision of delivering 100% customer and colleague satisfaction; our forward-thinking, progressive outlook perfectly complements our values with honesty, quality, care and customer service at the heart of the company, as they have been since 1859.
