**About our Sensitive Projects Team**:
As part of the DIO Commercial Directorate, the Sensitive Projects team is a dedicated group that offers comprehensive commercial support throughout the entire lifecycle of sensitive defence infrastructure projects in the UK. This diverse and exciting portfolio consists of multi-million-pound projects.

The Sensitive Projects team is composed of more than 14 staff members who specialize in procuring and managing large construction projects within high-security military bases, collaborating with teams possessing the highest levels of security clearance.

Our team provides support for all sourcing, procurement, and contract management activities across Projects and Programmes. This includes developing initial Procurement Strategies, creating and implementing Commercial Strategies, issuing tenders, negotiating and finalizing contracts, managing changes, and overseeing contract activities until Project/Programme closure.

**Person specification**:
**As a Commercial Practitioner for Sensitive Projects**:

- You will have a Commercial background in the delivery of projects, preferably construction, which may range from cost management to programme delivery
- You will support the Commercial Lead in the procurement and contract management of a unique and complex portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects and programmes, that is sustainable for a long-term future
- You will provide Commercial support on Sensitive Projects. This could involve several different and diverse projects or could be a fully focused role on one major construction. Alongside this, you will be required to support and lead the Commercial activity which will involve supplie
