As a Homeless Accommodation and Support Officer you will be working with clients in the locality to progress in resettlement accommodation. This client group will have a history of recurrent homelessness and need support to build on their skills to manage in their tenancy. You will carry a caseload of up to 15 people with multiple needs (some of which will be entrenched rough sleepers). You will provide a holistic and coordinated support for all customers, from first contact when they sign up for their accommodation, through to them move on into a long-term settled tenancy.

You will be part of the Council’s Housing Options team working alongside the Community Safety HUB, commissioned services, and local charities. The role will involve you working in a multi-agency setting, co-ordinating support on behalf of this client group to help them succeed in their accommodation.
