**Vacancy Overview**:
Are you looking to start your career in customer service and a sales-related role?
Remit are recruiting on behalf of ArcelorMittal, based at their site in Birkenhead CH41 3HZ for someone to join their sales team. You will undertake a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship.
**Working Week**:
36 hours 20 minutes pw. Core working hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday-Thurs; 8.30am to 3.00pm Friday
**Detailed Job Description**:
Your duties will include:
- Follow the Health & Safety policies and procedures reporting any safety issues or breaches of the rules.
- Assist with the collation of Test Certificates daily.
- Raise sales orders & pass onto production planning for allocation & planning.
- Work closely with designated sales executives supporting them in customer relationships & the recruitment of business.
- Engaging with new customers & contacts.
- Ensure that the administrative processes required to fulfill customer orders is organised & carried out efficiently i.e orders, reply to enquiries related to lead times & stocks whenever appropriate.
- Highlight to line manager any stock problems that arise.
- Check that all documentation / information received from the customer is clear, precise & acceptable in terms of quantity, size/gauge, specifications, price, delivery dates etc.
- Any other duties required by the business
Salary is NMW

- Excellent communicator with good personable skills
- Good Telephone manner
- Strong administration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Computer proficient with Excel and Word.
