**Purpose**

To control the planning of all colour woven, piece dyed and value-added products through the business to maintain both stock levels and service.

To manage all capacity and machine planning at our main manufacturing site in Meltham.

To work closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams to create the overall manufacturing plan.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage production planning and service for the operations department.
- Manage the piece dyed and colour woven stock file and maintain planning system parameters and stock targets to deliver service whilst minimising stock levels.
- Manage the “loomstate” ensuring weekly reviews are conducted, accurate stock levels are maintained, and the production requirements are calculated for the following week.
- Investigate any discrepancies within the “loomstate” rectifying any errors and implementing CI procedures to prevent issues recurring.
- To be the point of contact between the supplier and the Quality Team ensuring issues are dealt with effectively and with excellent customer service.
- Monitor the daily workload status of the team to ensure department deadlines are met, whilst introducing and encouraging working methodologies that promote consistency and best practice_._
- To create and sustain a positive team environment displaying high levels of motivation. Foster the highest standards of communication to enable positive and constructive relationships to be built and maintained.
- Ensure accuracy of supplier invoices prior to authorisation.
- Update of stock take figures as and when required, to deliver an accurate stock file.

**Education / Skills / Knowledge / Experience**
- To be educated to A-level standard.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
