The role of a learning disability support worker is unique and varied because the people you support all have unique needs. Whilst this can be a very diverse role, the key focus is always on supporting a person to lead a fulfilling and more independent life.

This vacancy is for a specific client; an autistic male client who lives at home. He is a wheelchair user and requires personal care. The client will need someone who is willing help him access the community and assist him to college on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This client would appreciate someone who is upbeat, willing to go out and about with him, and who can be a positive influence in his life. He loves music and can play many instruments. Therefore, someone with a passion for music would certainly be an advantage. He is currently working on strength training for his legs and would like to get back to the gym and participate in other exercise-based activities.

His support hours needed are;
Monday: 9:00 - 14:00

Tuesday: 09:00 - 16:30

Wednesday: 09:00 - 16:30
