We are searching for an enthusiastic person to join our front of house operations team at the**studio** in **Manchester City Centre**.

**about you**

You would be great for this role, if you are able to work as a team, but also self motivated to work alone.

This job involves heavy lifting and moving tables and chairs across the venue to different spaces.

You will have great attention to detail and presentation skills, its important that our meeting spaces are presented to the highest standard.

**about the role**

Setting up rooms, refreshment areas and following event function sheets.

Greeting and supporting clients with their requirements for a successful event.

Cleaning and tidying of rooms and public areas, including coffee machines.

Looking after our clients in a positive and professional manner, ensuring they have everything they need to run their event.

Follow all best practice for standards of presentation and delivery, complying with Health and Safety Legislation.

Ensuring that the function sheets are adhered to and everything runs to schedule.

Setting up spaces to studio standards and keeping areas are kept clean and tidy.

Cleaning and tidying of (not limited to) public areas, bar and kitchen areas and meeting rooms.

Supporting in other areas of the business when required, such as food service or cleaning.

Born as ‘The Orange Studio’ in 1999 we started with our award-winning Birmingham location and just 5 meeting rooms but it’s safe to say we’ve grown a lot since then. We became the**studio** in 2006 and we are now an independent company, owned and run by the same team since the beginning but now having grown to 46 meeting rooms across 4 locations around the UK.

Though we’ve grown a lot our friendly, people focused ethos and culture very much remains at our heart. It’s important to us that everyone that attends one of locations feels welcome and looked after. We’re not a large corporate chain and we’re really proud of that. We work hard. We be ourselves. We have fun.

We’re passionate about giving our clients the best experience and really care about getting things right. Our aim is to exceed expectations so it goes without saying that we have a friendly, welcoming, client focused team at the forefront of everything we do. Our ‘Customer First’ mission statement is applied to all aspects of our work and is the reason our clients return time and again.

£9.50 per hour

- Manchester City Centre, M1 1FN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Night shift (preferred)
