**Thera East Anglia are recruiting Full and Part time Support Workers in Ely to support people in their own homes.**

**£9.50 per hour plus sleep in rate supplement**

**The role of a Support Worker will include**: supporting people to plan their days and meals, preparing meals, shopping, arranging and attending medical appointments, keeping homes clean and tidy, cinema trips, zoo visits, playing board games, arts and crafts, swimming, walks, supporting people with personal care, support to maintain friendships and seek new friendships, keeping accurate records about some ones day and their achievements.

**What do you need to become a Support Worker with Thera East Anglia?**
- Experience is welcome but there is no substitute for the right attitude, a caring nature, a sense of humour and the willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Reliable and willingness to be flexible to meet peoples supported needs
- Drivers preferred (not essential)
