**About this client/child**:
Arthur (19) is fun, sociable and happy young man with great sense of humour and the most infectious giggle He has many interests, loves being involved in preparing his food, going shopping, cooking, listening to music, going out to the theatre, cinema andmuseums. He loves hydrotherapy and sensory activities. Arthur has cerebral palsy, is a wheelchair user and his food and medication are given via a PEG. He in non-verbal however communicates with facial expressions, sometimes sounds and Eye Gaze. He can expresshis likes and dislikes well. Arthur requires 2:1 support 24/7 with all his needs.

**Overview of role**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, vibrant and warm Support Worker for Arthur. Your role will be to support Arthur
with his day routine, providing personal care and enable him to access community, pursue his interest and explore
new activities with him. Arthur lives in a large, beautiful, fully adapted house and he has multidisciplinary team to provide

You will be fun, intuitive and proactive, happy to work alongside other team and family members. Arthur needs vibrant, positive and creative people who actively engage with him to bring out the best in him. For this position you must be comfortable supportinga young adult with physical disabilities and provide personal care.You don’t need to have years of experience, but you need to be eager to learn new skills, be positive, full of energy and have plenty of common sense.

This role offers excellent training opportunities by Arthur’s multidisciplinary team and you will receive continuous support from hisCase Manager, Team leader and family. You will be working 2:1 most of the time within the client's home so can focus all your skills and attention to help Arthur reach his potential.
