Staff Wellbeing Lead

Having a healthy workforce is one of our key strategic aims and in this newly established role you’ll lead and build on our successful Trust wide staff wellbeing programme. Working collaboratively with services across the Trust and with regional partners, you’ll ensure that we have a wide range of HWB support and interventions that actively support staff wellbeing and ensures they remain well at work
Naturally you’ll be passionate about health and wellbeing, but your standout feature will be your successful track record of delivery of wellbeing initiatives that have made a real difference. A skilled communicator, networker, project manager, with sound understanding of health and wellbeing policy, you’ll bring all these skills to bear in delivering on our staff wellbeing programme

Lead on the implementation and delivery of the staff HWB programme ensuring there are a broad range of interventions and initiatives that effectively support the Trust’s workforce to stay well at work.
Lead the Trust’s HWB Steering Group ensuring that it plays a key role in developing and informing the Trust’s approach to staff HWB.
In collaboration with clinical leads, develop and implement Trust wide training programmes, such as Mental Health Awareness, that ensures managers are skilled in supporting staff HWB.
Develop and grow the HWB Champion network recognising they play an essential role in supporting the Trust’s workforce.
Continue to develop and monitor the Trust’s Wellbeing Discussion initiative ensuring that every employee is offered a Wellbeing Discussion.
Support the development and communication of the Staff in Crisis pathway ensuring that managers and staff are clear on what support is available.
In collaboration with Clinical colleagues and national programmes, lead on the Suicide prevention initiatives ensuring that the Trust actively does all it can to support staff.
Lead on the Staff Benevolent Fund and through effective communication and publicity ensure it becomes a sustainable and scalable tool to support colleagues in times of hardship and crisis.
Working closely with the HRBPs, develop relationships with key stakeholders to understand their HWB requirements and developing HWB plans to meet their needs.
