**Purpose of the **Role**
The CRO will ensure the smooth running of the control room operations, under the supervision of the Control Room Supervisor, to ensure the set standards of the full security operational scope is maintained throughout the site.
The CRO will be required to report on monthly occurrences and identify initiatives and innovations for consideration to ensure continuous site development. Risks and threats highlighted while running their daily operational tasks will be immediately escalated to their immediate Supervisor for reviewing.
The CRO will be an extension of the Control Room Supervisor and by extension the brand ambassador of Queensgate Shopping Centre. CRO will assist the team to provide the expected level of customer service excellence. Part of the daily operations will require the CRO to build their relationship with tenants, contractors and maintenance team and provide support where needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide and uphold an excellent level of customer service to site staff and all visitors
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all site staff, visitors, assets and the premises
- Adhere to all set policies and procedures by Savills and Queensgate Shopping Centre
- To Comply with all relevant government regulations
- Remain punctual, presentable and supportive of all company and site initiatives and innovations introduced
- Support and assist the CR Supervisor, Compliance Manager and by extension the Operations Team and Centre Management
- Regular maintenance checks of all site equipment to ensure efficient delivery of all security measures.
- Ensure prompt/adequate response to incidents at customer premises in line with Company procedures and/or contract requirements.
- Ensure familiarity with and availability of all equipment required for the delivery of service, especially in relation to Patrol Reporting Systems, CCTV, Access Control Systems, fire & intruder alarms, uniforms, torches, and personal protective equipment, etc.
- Ensure full understanding of escalation procedures for incidents at customer premises to meet obligations under the contract and/or legislation.
- Maintain on site CCTV Management and Operation procedures in line with client and Savills directives
- To abide by all set ‘Assignment Instructions’, ‘Site Operation Procedures’, Savills Policies and Procedures, Queensgate Shopping Centre Policies and Procedures.
- Assist and support your designated line management and team members, at all times, to achieve set security standards on site
**Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in the provision of security services in a busy environment visited by members of the public.
- Be SIA licensed & CCTV licensed.
- Able to demonstrate a good level of customer service.
- Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.
- Honest and reliable work ethic.
- Well presented.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work in both/internal and external environments.
- Flexible working approach to work patterns.
**Working Hours**
42 hours
**Salary**
£10.50 p/h
