**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- To make sure you are aware of, and meet the legal and Company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene
- To report health and safety issues to your line manager, including all accidents and near misses
- To promote good safety habits and methods of work
- To ensure all areas are kept clean during and after use and manage the waste removal to the appropriate area
- To manage the operation of machinery as trained to do so, ensuring that the equipment is used safely and in accordance with current regulations and company policies
- To liaise with LSS ensuring time is reasonably allocated to their tasks and ensure the tasks are carried out to the correct standard
- To keep all relevant documents relating to kitchen cleaning available for review at all times
- To perform any other reasonable duties as required by your manager
- Taking reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or what they fail to do.
- Co-operate with your line manager on HSE matters.
- To always look out for opportunities to develop our service
- As part of our commitment for continuous improvement and innovation, all colleagues are encouraged to seek ways to improve work activities and promote efficiency
- Responsible for the overall management of cleaning all equipment and kitchen areas
- Management of kitchen waste
- To ensure a good relationship is maintained with LSS and that LSS tasks are correctly carried out and monitored
- Ensure the correct use of work equipment and personal protective equipment in accordance with training and instructions provided.
- Not interfere with or mis-use anything provided for HSE purposes.
- Report HSE hazards, accidents, incidents, illness and diseases to your line manager.
- Complete Level 2 HSE e-learning “Working Safely” (and Working Safely with Food, if appropriate) within 20 weeks of commencing employment.
