Over the years we’ve grown by acquisition developing a portfolio of businesses who provide Governance, Risk and regulatory Compliancesolutions to enterprise customers and professionals across the globe. **Main Purpose of Role** Reporting to the CTO, you will ensure you develop and maintain close working relationships between the business leadership and the Technology function. As the HoT you will be responsible for the divisional platform and technical product roadmap working in collaborationwith divisional product owners. You will provide technical leadership for the division, sitting on the divisional LT, as well as key business LTs. Eventually this role will provide line management to a Tech Partner - T&E role (as yet unhired). **Responsibilities**: - Providing input and challenge to the T&E LT - being the primary "face of IT and Data services" to the division. - Responsible for the definition and the design of the technical roadmap for the division aligned with the product strategy. - Aligning the division architecture with the agreed Wilmington Tech architecture. - Driving best in class data practices for both internal efficiency and external product offerings. - Owning the tech project portfolio for the division ensuring that projects are delivered with appropriate technology governance and standards. - Drive technology and product innovation. - Own technology budget for division. - Together with the Group Tech Leadership team develop technology strategies and roadmaps for the division - Facilitate sharing of technology best practice across the group.Provide leadership on good product management and data practices throughout the division. - Most travel will be UK focused, with a smaller amount of international travel as required. **Skills and Experience Required**: - Experience in the same or similar role with a proven track record of driving and leading large-scale product strategies for (ideally) an online education business. - Budget management. - Innovation as a process. - Possess extensive years hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding working within an enterprise architecture function. - Experience with solution design and architecture. - Pro-active team player - Experience of working in a B2B environment. - Outstanding analytical skills. - Experience of improving client experience technologies. - Strong written and verbal communication skills at senior levels of management. - Operating in a matrix organisation.
