**Graduate Accountant**

Based in Watford, Hertfordshire our client are looking for a Graduate Accountant to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit someone wanting to study their ACCA/CIMA qualification to assist with the accounting and reporting of Term Products lending, which comprise first and second charge mortgages, and which is a core and rapidly growing product line for thebusiness.

The company are a hugely exciting business who has enjoyed rapid growth internationally and are now looking to improve their planning and management to enable further growth.

The successful individual will be working towards or wanting to begin their ACCA/CIMA qualification. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Good IT skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (to includeWord, Excel and Outlook) are essential for this role. Knowledge of NetSuite or equivalent ERP/accounting system is desired.

Job responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable - Processing invoices, paying suppliers using Oracle NetSuite (20% of time). The intension is that you will learn this task from the current incumbent and eventually pass it on.
- Processing daily payments for loan completions and broker commission, and reconciling system to bank accounts.
- Assist with the accounting for the Term Product related group entities, including month end close and reconciliation processes.
- Assist with managing ongoing cash requirements for funding term loans and prepare bank funding drawdown requests.
- Assist with quarterly FCA reporting.
- Assist with the annual statutory audit and twice yearly AUP (Agreed Upon Procedures) audit.
- Assist with the production of monthly management information packs and reports for business heads and directors.
