Accountancy Trainee or Graduate - Start Date: September 2026

Graduates

  • Minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree.

Joining our Technical Accounting and Valuations Team (TAVT)
What does the TAVT team do?

The Technical Accounting and Valuations Team (TAVT) helps clients solve complex and unusual accounting challenges. This includes supporting with business acquisitions, accounting standard changes, share scheme valuations, and preparing for stock exchange listings.

You'll start by building a strong foundation in accounting, likely within our Accounts and Business Advisory Services (ABAS) team. As your knowledge grows, you'll receive specialist training in technical accounting.

The team is based across several UK offices and is known for being close-knit, collaborative and supportive. Everyone is encouraged to share ideas, regardless of experience level.

Your responsibilities
  • Learning how to prepare financial statements
  • Supporting with technical accounting research and analysis
  • Helping to value share schemes and intangible assets
  • Working closely with colleagues across different offices
  • Contributing to client reports and presentations

School / College Leavers (Trainees)

You'll be part of our AAT programme, a recognised professional qualification for those starting a career in accounting.

Graduates

You'll follow the ACA qualification route, completing a structured training programme alongside professional exams to develop advanced accounting, audit, and advisory skills.
