**Social-Emotional Learning Assistant**
- **Full Time Equivalent - £23,140 - £26,000**:
- **Actual Term Time Pay - £17,355 - £19,500 (holiday pay included)**
An Ealing-based primary school is looking for an ambitious individual for the position of Social-Emotional Learning Assistant (SELA). This position is a full-time role, for the academic year of 2025/2026, that includes training, mentorship & experience working with industry-leading professionals. This is a term-time only position.
**Day-to-day of the role: Social-Emotional Learning Assistant**
- Working with students with SEN - such as ADHD, ASD, Behavioural Needs, SEMH
- Promoting holistic child development by teaching students skills such as self-regulation
- Monitoring the performance of students through report-taking
- Liaising with SENCO, Therapists and parents to understand the goals & targets set for the student(s)
- 1:1 & intervention group with students to support them by building persistence, empathy, self-awareness, and mindfulness
- Individuals with a strong academic background - Degree, A-levels, B-Tec, College etc
- Perfect for individuals with a passion for psychology & therapy
- Aspiring SENCOs & Therapists (e.g. Occupational, Speech & Language, Behavioural etc)
- Ambitious, hard-working, patient & empathetic individuals
