To continue to be loved by the children who come to our classes, the Little Kickers coaching teams who run our sessions need to be fantastic and that's where you come in **Benefits of being a Little Kickers Coach Training & Development Manager**: - Part-time work - Saturday and Sunday mornings & flexible weekday admin - Take your passion for football coaching, child development into a more progressive role - Great pay - Pay dependent on experience - Work available all year round - 46 weekends a year This role involves successfully managing the training and development of coaching staff to deliver Little Kickers classes to an excellent standard. The role involves quality management across the operational business and leading the continuous improvement and growth of the Little Kickers product and coaching team in the South Manchester area. **What the role involves**: - Undertaking the planning, scheduling, and delivery of the training and development and regular assessment of Little Kickers coaching staff - Together with the Operations Manager conduct interviews, recruitment, induction, monitoring, and exit processing of all coaches within the South Manchester and Trafford area - To provide ongoing constructive feedback to coaching staff to help them learn "on the job" - To report to and coordinate with the Director to ensure the maintenance of the highest possible quality Little Kickers sessions at all times - Updating coaching staff on new developments within the coaching at Little Kickers generally - To work with the Director once new venues are identified to train the coaching staff required to operate these venues - Weekly monitoring of the delivery of Lead Coach session plans to ensure consistency of quality and progression and that they conforming to the Little Kickers session aims - To keep themselves up to speed with the latest developments in Little Kickers coaching by completing online training and attending online coaching forums as required - To carry out regular as well as one-off training and expert coaching demonstrations at sessions with new and existing coaching staff to ensure that coaching staff understand their roles fully, accept any changes required and that coaching morale, motivationand standards are consistently high - To undertake a range of functions to ensure the maintenance and monitoring of a healthy, productive and safe environment at all times at all Little Kickers workplaces - To act as a role model Lead Coach when present at Little Kickers sessions - To deal positively with day-to-day coaching and customer issues and reporting - To escalate issues and problems in a timely and sensitive manner - To attend partnership meetings quarterly and regular catch-up meetings via Zoom with the coaching partnership management team. **Requirements to be Little Kickers Coach Training & Development Manager** - Confident, out-going, great with children, - Great people person, highly motivating and encouraging - 100% reliable, organised & calm under pressure - Previous experience coaching young children - at least 2 years experience - Previous experience of training and managing staff - Excellent verbal communication skills are vital - FA Level 1 coaching qualification/First Aid & child protection modules - Access to a car and ability to drive in the UK. You will need to travel to venues in South Manchester and Trafford. Petrol will be paid. - This position is self-employed with performance bonuses available **Hours Available** Part-time hours: 8 per week initially with Saturday and Sunday mornings included and additional admin hours to prepare coach training, and after-hours sessions for coaches as deemed appropriate.
