Our people and their **safety** are at the heart of everything we do here at GXO. Over the past year there has been even more light shed on people’s **wellbeing, health and safety** than ever before and this is where we need you as our **Regional HSE Advisor.**

You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in London but covering our sites in the southern area as well as working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle towork scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Carry out regular and accurate QHSE-related reporting, feeding this back to the management team and wider site as part of the monthly health and safety meetings
- Advise and assist where required with all on-going investigations into all accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed within agreed SLA timings
- Manage and monitor the implementation of all applicable quality, health, safety and environment policies and procedures
- The ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) or Diploma (desirable)
- Exposure to accident investigation, including full analysis and reporting
- The ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety
- You will have excellent organisational skills, good communication and IT skills, be self-motivated and able to work as part of a successful team
