**Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI - Financial Services - Cardiff****:

- Hybrid (Fully Flexible) - Up To £80,000 per annum (Salary Negotiable based on experience)**

DataBuzz are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious organisation who is looking for Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI within Financial Services Industry.

As a Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI - Financial Services, you will be expected to have strong experience in analytical financial services of Utility.

As a Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI - Financial Services, you will be expected to analyse, report and improve data from customer acquisition, management, collections and financial reporting.

As a Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI - Financial Services, you will be expected to be key Commercial team member and will play a role in driving insight and change across the function

As a Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI - Financial Services, you will be expected to work alongside several teams and have an unrivalled opportunity to understand all aspects of the business.

As a Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI - Financial Services, you will be expected to have experience of Python, R and SQL as it is very hands-on from start.

As a Utility Analyst - Python/R/SQL/BI - Financial Services, you will be expected to have experience of internal collection and BI Framework.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Drive insight and business recommendations through data analysis, helping to identify business problems or areas of opportunity and recommending required actions.
- Lead an MI agenda across the business to drive the right data structures, reporting tools, automation, and presentation layers.
- Utilise advanced analytics and big data across multiple sources to enhance insight for key business stakeholders

**Essential Experience**:

- Strong experience of Python, R.
- Experience of SQL, ideally MS SQL Server but other similar RDBMS are desirable.
- Experience of BI frameworks, ideally story telling, reporting and visualisations using reporting tools/ Excel.
- Financial services experience desirable.
- Proficient using Excel.
- An aptitude for getting to the bottom of a particular problem, breaking it apart and understanding it, before designing and implementing a solution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and ability to operate independently while being flexible to adapt to change
- Have strong Communication Skills.
- Should be problem solving with eager to learn mindset.
