Verification Engineer

Swindon

£55,000 to £60,000 + Benefits

Monday to Friday. DAYS BASED ROLE.

Verification engineer required for a leading global manufacturing company who have five decades experiences within their niche field. The role is centred on bench evaluation of ASICs yet has the benefit of combining technical skills with close daily interactionwith other teams such as designers, test engineers, project managers and customers.

The role responsibilities are handling PCB-level circuit design of evaluation hardware including schematic capture. Leading bench evaluation of ASIC designs using bench instrumentation and custom hardware platforms, developing test plans and verificationsolutions. Leading the collaboration with the IC design, test, and product teams throughout development. Communicating with customers to understand high-level requirements and design solutions.

The Verification Engineer Role:

- Handles PCB-level circuit design of evaluation hardware, including schematic capture

*Leads collaboration with the IC Design, Test, and Product teams during the course of development

*Leads bench evaluation of ASIC designs using bench instrumentation and custom hardware platforms
- Leads communication with customers to understand high-level requirements and design solutions

The Person:
*Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

*Knowledge of analog and digital circuit measurement methods and CMOS technology

*Experience using lab instruments such as bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and instrument connectivity for script automation

*Can create clearly written engineering reports

*Coding ability for the automation of bench tests

*Knowledge of PCB tools
