**About the role**

Cornwall Housing is embarking on a journey with our residents to improve their neighbourhoods and estates. To support this project, we are looking for a Neighbourhood Projects Surveyor to embrace the challenge. If you are a qualified surveyor or are willing to work to becoming qualified, this brilliant opportunity to join our Housing Operations team, could just be the one for you. This varied role will see you working in partnership with our assets team and also supporting the Neighbourhood Services Manager in delivering estate based contracts and undertaking reactive inspections in support of our residents.

Ways in which you will achieve this:

- Work in partnership with Neighbourhood Services Manager, Head of Housing Management and Asset teams, plan future works and programmes to ensure effective spend of estate budgets and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the operational delivery of CHL’s capital estates regeneration projects to planned timescales, within budget and to a performance level that satisfies or exceeds both client and business expectation.
- Undertake reactive environment inspections
- Ensure awareness of and adherence to applicable rules, regulations, legislation, and procedures e.g., Equal Opportunities Policy/Code of Conduct) and national legislation e.g., Health and Safety, Data Protection

**About you**

We are looking for you to bring:

- Relevant housing related vocational/professional qualification in building level 4 surveying /project management (HNC/HND) or be willing to work to achieve such qualification on appointment, or able to demonstrate relevant practical experience in a related environment. (RCIS or CIOB etc).
- Experience of leading a team, or the ability to demonstrate where you have worked with others to direct work and oversee activities.

**Contract Type: Permanent**

**Base: Hybrid working - A combination of homeworking, community visits and office work required. The office base will be Chy Trevail, Bodmin.**
