British Heart Foundation (BHF) has an ambitious Workday roadmap, particularly in the Payroll and Benefits space, and we’re looking for a highly capable Workday Pay and Benefits Specialist to play a key role in this project, by being responsible for maintaining the Payroll and Benefits module in our HR software system, Workday.

In this role, you’ll be the technical Workday expert, meeting with stakeholders from across the business, identifying improvements and providing technical solutions in Workday. You will also be responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying new features to support our Payroll and benefits function.

**Working arrangements**

Please note this is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

**About you**

You’ll have proven experience in payroll and/or benefits as a technical specialist for Workday and previous experience supporting pay cycles and in project management.

With a great understanding of benefits programmes, you’ll have a deep knowledge of configuring custom reports and handling large data sets and will have prior experience working with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) or other large data HRIS import functionality.

You’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to liaise with colleagues across different levels throughout the business. You'll be highly efficient with excellent organisational skills. Able to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training, you'll be confident working on multiple projects simultaneously.
