**HOURS**:30 hours per week

CRITERIA EVIDENCE
**Knowledge and Desirable**
**Experience**
- Previous experience of PR & marketing ideally in a third sector organisation.
- Proven experience with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Application

TikTok and LinkedIn. Form and
- Video and photography experience for social media Interview. purposes.

**Skills Essential**
- Good verbal, none verbal and written communication skills.
- Good writing skills, including proofreading/editing.
- Creative ability to come up with new ideas for social media engagement.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive and can-do attitude.
- Passion for advertisements through social media.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Form and
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, Interview. citizens, family members and external carers.

**What does a Social Media Assistant** **do?**

**Key Tasks**:

- Create engaging social media content for diverse audiences across various channels.
- Develop compelling copy and ensure consistent tone of voice in written content.
- With the support of the Senior PR & Marketing Officer create a bi
- Produce written stories with accompanying media/visuals.
- Capture and edit video and photographs for social media visuals.
- Visit services to promote and advertise service provision and user experience
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media to ensure maximum impact and reach.
- Analyse social media statistics to maximize impact and leverage strengths.
- Monitor and respond promptly to social media inquiries and messages.
- Assist in PR and Marketing planning, reporting, and event organization.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce various promotional materials.
