Outpatient Clerk/receptionist

When the role is fulfilled successfully it leads to excellent patient experience & the effective, efficient, safe delivery of care. Due to the nature of the role, working calmly under pressure would be an essential personal quality.
The post holder will manage general enquiries from patients / carers, book new & follow-up appointments as required; a good attention to detail is essential to ensure the accurate recording of patient pathways along with strong organisation skills to ensure patient documentation is available, organised and filed in accordance with guidelines.
The Reception Team provide a professional service that complies with procedural guidelines and quality standards, and is responsible for the following duties:
Entering data onto various systems.
Full reception duties of the outpatient department.
Booking appointments.
Processing patient information.
Outpatient experience is desirable, although full in house training will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
