Cordius on behalf of our client is looking for a WordPress Developer who can support front-end and back-end development across a large variety of projects. It’s the perfect position for someone with a passion for web development using multiple technologies.
You’ll have the opportunity to use the latest technologies whilst working on a truly diverse roster of clients. You’ll be joining a tight team with specialisms across the spectrum, taking on new projects and supporting existing clients.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 year’s agency experience
- A working understanding of HTML, CSS and JS/jQuery
- Experience with package managers (Composer, Webpack, NPM)
- Knowledge of GIT and Github/Bitbucket
- A good working knowledge of PHP
- WordPress / Other PHP based CMS development experience
- Familiarity with MySQL databases
- The ability to debug front-end issues using the inspector tool
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Working knowledge of creative programmes (Photoshop, Illustrator etc)

Desirable Skills:

- WordPress plugin development and maintenance experience
- Server management experience (SSH, SFTP)
- Experience working on eCommerce sites
- Knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks (React, Vue)
- Basic SEO skills
