Apprentice People & Development Administrator

**Location**: Team Valley (with flexibility for home working)

**Salary**:£19,652 per annum

This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) & a fixed term contract of 18 months, with the potential for a permanent position at the end of the contract.

We are recruiting an Apprentice People & Development Administrator to join our Employability and Careers team based in Gateshead (Team Valley).

The apprentice People & Development Administrator will provide comprehensive administration support to the ESF programme/ People Development functions including the Assessment Centre, Training/CPD team and to work with colleagues to deliver a professionalservice.

You will also complete a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration alongside your role.

**Personal specifications**:
**Knowledge**

**Essential**:

- Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English, or equivalent

Desirable:

- Experience or confidence to make frequent phone contact with a wide audience of customers
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 365

**Skills Essential**
- Excellent organisational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to show tact and diplomacy
- Able to follow instructions
- Trustworthy (dealing with confidential information)
- Good communication, administrative and teamwork skills
