Are you a recent school or college leaver looking to kickstart your career in accountancy? Look no further Our award-winning accountancy practice is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join our team.

As a level 3 apprentice, within just 18 months, you'll be just one step away from becoming a qualified accountant. And the best part? You'll gain valuable experience on a day-to-day basis, from bookkeeping and VAT returns to maintaining records for HMRC and Companies House. You'll also handle general administrative tasks, which will give you a broad range of skills and expertise.

This role is a great way to gain valuable experience in the accountancy industry and you will receive excellent training and guidance from experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting you in your career development.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing client bookkeeping and reconciling other financial documents
- Preparing and filing VAT returns
- Maintaining statutory records at Companies House, as well as dealing with HMRC
- Handling general administrative tasks, including post and answering the phone

**Requirements**:

- 5 GCSEs at 5 - 9 (inc. English Language and Maths at grade 5 or higher)
- A drive to learn and develop your skills in accountancy.
- A passion for technology and IT-savvy.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
