Duties:

- Polish and finish metal parts using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Fabricate and modify parts as needed to meet specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand polishing requirements
- Use various hand tools and equipment to shape, smooth, and polish sheet metal
- Operate cranes or other lifting equipment to move heavy materials or parts

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a polisher or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Knowledge of different polishing techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for polishing requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate cranes or other lifting equipment safely

Pay: From £22,254.00 per year
