ARM are supporting a world leading Automotive design company with the recruitment of a Buyer on a permanent basis.
The Buyer will Support the establishment and ramp-up of Logistics operations at a specialised, small-volume automotive manufacturing operation. Working with the Purchasing, Manufacturing & Design teams to ensure capacity planning, on time delivery & stock control.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop a supply chain strategy
- Continuously improve / develop logistics process
- Investigate stock discrepancies
- Liaise with Manufacturing and purchasing departments to avoid manufacturing delays
- Support Production control / purchasing functions as necessary
- Maintaining accurate records and manage / controlling weekly and monthly stock levels
- Be available to work OT, shutdowns and travel as needed
**Requirements**:

- Experience within procurement of materials
- Experience with ERP and/or MRP systems
- Able to analyse complex data to ensure optimisation of manufacturing constraints
- Strong analytical skills
- Detailed knowledge of demand planning and forecasting processes.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and with a high attention to detail A
- Excellent organisational and communication skills in addition to strong Excel skills
