Indirect Senior Buyer

A successful and growing business in the energy sector require an Indirect Senior Buyer. Applicants should have indirect procurement experience, be comfortable with operational and strategic tasks and have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

The Indirect Senior Buyer will be responsible for a spend of £10-£15M. This is a hands-on procurement role where the Senior Indirect Buyer will be responsible for developing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Specific duties of the Indirect Senior Buyer include:

- Implementation of procurement strategy
- Cradle-to-grave management of the tender process
- Approve and onboard new suppliers
- Maintain and progress rebates setup in supplier agreements
- Management and maintenance of the contract management database
- Supplier Management - drive collaboration, ensure SLAs are met etc.
- Stakeholder engagement - Finance, Legal, Production and Engineering

Indirect Senior Buyer applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Strategic procurement ability - negotiation, savings, supplier rationalisation, SRM, contract management etc.
- Comfortable with hands-on role with operational elements.
- Ability to oversee procurement processes and systems
- A positive out-going, relationship builder
- Influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
