Our client, a successful and expanding legal practice based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire are recruiting for an experienced MOJ and Motor Recoveries Claims Handler to join their expanding team.
This is a hybrid role, involving a mix of office attendance and home-based working.
To handle a mixed RTA PI and ULR caseload of approximately 150-200 files from receiving newly accepted cases: RTA PI cases will be progressed via the MOJ Portals up to and including Stage 3 to settlement.
Motor recovery cases will be handled through the pre-issue and/or civil litigation process up to settlement.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in RTA personal injury and ULR claims preferred.
- Experience of handling RTA PI and ULR cases from inception through to the issue of proceeding, settlement and trial.
- Experience in handling credit hire, credit repair and general insurer based subrogated claims preferred.
- Experience of delivering against agreed targets.
- Experience of working to deadlines.
- Experience of working in a legal, insurance or professional environment.
- Strong understanding of Road Traffic Accident scenarios.
- Strong understanding of current RTA Portal, Pre-Action and Litigation procedures.
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
