**Dimensions**:

- Exercise the highest degree of discretion and professionalism, when dealing with sensitive/ restricted data and information
- Embrace responsibility for facilitating Continual Improvement programmes across the business, providing guidance and mentoring, with emphasis aimed at ensuring the ongoing development of individuals and teams, and departments
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, internal and external to the business, to identify and document, ‘Opportunities for Improvement’ (OFI)
- Provide clear guidance, and vision of best practice to effectively meet the business ‘road-map’ and strategies
- Remain current with business activities which may present Opportunities for Improvement, remaining aligned with Customers’ expectations and requirement(s)
- Coordinate with line managers and engineering team and assist them with preparation of systems documentation necessary to meet with the requirements of statutory and regulatory bodies, including applicable versions of ISO 9001, 3834, and EN 15085 (others as applicable)
- Deliver improvement initiatives to line managers and senior management team through the appropriate channels of development, planning, and implementation strategies
- Contribute with the creation of best-practice manufacturing processes, strategy, policies, and procedures to aid and improve business performance(s)
- Manage the reporting systems, i.e., Nonconformance, extracting relevant data for analysis required to identify ‘trends’ within operational activities, and manufacturing outputs
- Assist with collation of systems data, and preparation of reporting of business performances
- Reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), from all functions of the business, as appropriate

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrable experience / portfolio
- Auditor training (preferred)

**Essential**:

- Minimum of 3 years current experience within a similar position, industry, and engineering environment
- Effective communication skills
- A strong background and experience of document and data control
- Have an in-depth understanding of Business Management Systems (B/QMS)
- Quality aware (BS EN ISO 9001:2015), and experience of working within a customer focused environment
- Effective prioritisation of workload and ability to perform duties whilst under minimum supervision
- Adept with detailed document and report writing, BP's, WPD's, W/PI's, QP's
- Strong IT skills, data entry, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Working proactively, and efficiently to deadlines, and engaged to achieving time-bound targets
- Excellent team player with a proactive hands-on approach
- Flexibility to performing other tasks if required, and willing to learn new skills
- Inspection activities, checking processes and procedural requirements of industries including, Defence, Rail, Automotive
- Producing quality documentation in line with customer requirements (P)FMEA, Control Plans)

7:45 - 17:15 Mon - Thurs / 7:45 - 13:00 Fri

(40 hours of work per week. You may be expected to work any additional hours depending on business requirements)
