Finance Manager

Greenwellgleeson are working exclusively with a successful logistics business based in Worcestershire. Reporting into the Finance Director, this newly created position will sit as number two within the finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someonewho is looking for their next career step and to join a company that offers future development.
Duties of the role will include:
- Reporting in to and supporting the Finance Director
- Managing and developing a small team
- Monthly management accounts preparation for the Group, including consolidation
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for the Group
- Preparation of year end audit info
- Cashflow monitoring and control including payment generation
- Annual budgeting and forecasting
- Commercial analysis and preparation of management information, including fleet costs and weekly Dashboard
- Contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures
- Any ad hoc finance queries or finance related projects
- Weekly payroll review and approval
- Hands on involvement in transactional work to cover as required
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
- Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA
- Experience working in an SME preferable but not essential
- Strong technical as well as commercial ability
- Strong systems and Excel skills
