Group Financial Accountant

At N brown, we are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join our group finance team, leading the financial accounting and reporting for the groups three Irish entities.
**As a Group Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include**:
- Owning and taking responsibility for the timely delivery of the month end close and financial reporting for the main Irish entity (Oxendales).
- Producing monthly Board packs and providing appropriate commentary and analysis of results v budget/forecast.
- Taking responsibility for the collation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Acting as a Business Partner and providing support to the Oxendales Board, relevant business owners and the Finance leadership team.
- Taking ownership of the entity Balance Sheet and performance of monthly BS reconciliations.
- Taking ownership of the entity cashflow and management of the entity’s liquidity requirements and assist in decision making over dividend payments.
- Working with the Head of Group finance and Risk manager to design and implement controls across the Irish financial reporting and finance operations, aligning to the rest of the Group.
- Improving and developing the current financial process, system outputs, and value-add across the business.
- Taking responsibility for the production of the statutory accounts of the 3 Irish entities and act as a key contact for the external audit.
- Supporting the Head of Tax with all Corporation tax, VAT and Transfer pricing matters for the Irish business.
**At N Brown, we are looking for a Group Financial Accountant who has the following skills and experiences**:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with post qualification experience.
- Positive, open mindset with good communication skills and leader of change.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate and partner internally with other teams, and support key members of the finance leadership team.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Attention to detail and pride in what they do. Results oriented.
- Excellent excel skills is a must.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion products preferable but not essential.
- Retail and / or commercial experience preferable, but not essential.
